Easter Celebration

My Mom was as happy as can be as she celebrated Easter with six of her kiddos, their spouses, and some of the grandchildren (we were missing my older brother and his family). We had a great time at my sister's house. We all enjoyed watching the kids hunt for eggs and play with each other. It was such a blessing to spend time with my family.
"Cascarrones" are a lot of fun and an old, Mexican tradition. They are egg shells stuffed with confetti. This is what you do: you sneak up on some unsuspecting, innocent person, crack the cascarron on her head and confetti goes everywhere. Everyone laughs hysterically....except the person who has the confetti all over her...actually, in this case, my girl was a good sport.
My boy found a pretty creative way to hold his basket. He kept the basket hanging from his neck until every egg was opened and all of the candy was eaten.
The egg hunt was so much fun!
